ADAPTIVE GOLF CLINICS

Learn to Play!

USAGA clinics give golfers with physical, cognitive, and other special needs hands-on adaptive golf instruction tailored to their abilities. USAGA Adaptive Golf coaches work with participants on fundamentals such as balance, posture, setup and swing path. USAGA clinics use regular and adapted golf equipment to best fit the needs and abilities of the participants.

To view the clinics happening around the country and sign up, please utilize the calendar at the bottom of the page.

S.N.A.G. CLINICS: USAGA uses SNAG (Starting New At Golf) adaptive clubs to help teach beginning students. We work with schools, SRA's and many other groups to teach golf.

S.N.A.G. CLINCS

S.N.A.G. (Starting New At Golf) clinics serve special needs children of any skill level by introducing them to golf within a fun atmosphere. Our USAGA instructors teach the students the fundamentals of putting and chipping using specialized equipment designed for beginning golfers. At the end of the program the students are giving a certificate of completion, and a sense of joy and freedom.

DRIVING RANGE CLINICS: Students who want to take their game to the next level can participate in our driving range clinics. We work on a variety of golf skills at different courses throughout the area.

DRIVING RANGE CLINICS

If someone already knows the fundamentals of the game or has graduated from our S.N.A.G. program, the USAGA offers driving range clinics to show all the different ways adaptive players can get out on the course. Our adaptive golf coaches will show attendees the different types of equipment that can be used for adaptive golfers. This may include specialized clubs and golf carts.

ADAPTIVE GOLF ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM: Teaching PGA Professionals, physical therapists, adaptive P.E. teachers and experienced golfers how to effectively coach individuals with disabilities utilizing adaptive golf techniques.

"What a treat the clinics have been so far! Our members can’t stop sharing all that they have learned. The coaches’ attention to and patience with the participants is remarkable, and the experience has had both social and therapeutic benefits for them...Thank you for all that you do."
